Woohoo! I hit my weekend goal of 10,000 words on The Girls Nobody Wanted to Date. I attribute that to the inspiration I received at the news of John McCain’s pick for VP. (Not really, I just want to rib glamberson a bit.) Anyway, here’s the total count as of right now:

I have seven chapters finished. I feel like it’s a bit disorganized. I mean, I spend three chapters at a football game where Ashlie, the main character, hardly watches the game. There’s all this dialogue where not much is really said and I think I need to cut it, but when I reread it it sounds just like the kids at school. So … I don’t know. I’ll just keep soldiering forward and see where it ends up.
