Okay, ya’ll know I don’t promote other people’s books or music very often, right? I could say that’s because I don’t have much time for reading, but that would cheapen what I’m about to say, eh? Especially since I haven’t even read the book in question.

new book, Girl, Hero. Go read her blog, especially the entries where she’s talking to John Wayne. Yeah, THE John Wayne. The book is a series of letters to John Wayne, from what I understand. Okay, okay, like I said, I haven’t read it. But Carrie is just so nice, and incredibly funny, so you should buy her book (even if it is written in present tense).
Don’t just take my word for it, though. Other people recommend it, too.

C’mon, Carrie’s running for state congress there in Maine. Don’t make her become a crooked politician because she isn’t earning enough royalties on her books. You can get yourself entertained and ensure this young lady stays on the straight and narrow. Well, mostly. Just don’t leave your cherries unattended around her.
