Couldn’t be farther from the truth. Teachers have to be able to do it better than everyone else, because then they have to go and explain it in six different ways until YOUR DUMBASS can understand it.

Although the core of that is not original to Taylor Mali (it’s been floating around on message boards, listservs, and email for the better part of a decade), he presents it well and adds some nice, angry flourishes to it.
