The Vikings drafted AD!
Woohoo! My favorite player in the NFL draft went to my favorite team. I know some experts predicted Adrian Peterson would go the Vikings, but I didn’t really expect him to still be there at No. 7. Or, let’s face it, the Vikings being smart enough to snap him up. It seems they seldom do what I expect. I think he’s just the kind of player the Vikes need, and pairing AD up with Chester Taylor should make for a very effective backfield. The big question, of course, will be the quarterback. Who’ll start, and will he be any good?
Of course, it’d be an even better birthday if somebody would give me the kind of payday Peterson is due now.
