No news is good news, right?

No word yet on Amara’s Prayer or Shara/Ulrik. That’s good, I think. My story “Noodlers Nab Nekkid Nymphs” did earn another rejection, though. And I can’t find a suitable place to send The Prometheus Syndrome. What publisher might be interested in a ghost/zombie/hillbilly/heavy metal horror novel set in the mid-1980s? Hmm.

Last week in creative writing we watched Capote. It was the first time I’d seen the movie. It was really good. In Cold Blood has moved to the top of my TBR pile. I know, I know … many years ago my mom gave me a paperback copy she’s had since the ’60s, but I’ve never bothered to read it.

  1. “This is Captain America calling…”
FYI, CAP MARVEL is calling for a book description from you over on Shocklines.

Thanks! I’d have completely missed that.

  2. “Noodlers Nab Nekkid Nymphs” I heart you! I adore alliteration, I’m not sure why but it always makes me smile. Here’s hoping it finds a home so I can read it.

    1. Thanks! This is the one I read at Horrorfind last year. It seemed to go over pretty well. Rednecks, catfish, beer, sex and Greek mythology. What’s not to love?
Glad you got the shirt. I’m not much of a graphic designer, huh?

  3. By the way- I received my shirt – thank you, thank you, thank you!
