Today is my new book’s birthday!

My latest novel, Yes or No, is one I’m kinda proud of. It’s a literary novel about a man in his 50s who is confined to a nursing home and suffering from COPD. Daniel’s led a hard life that’s included prisons and rehabs and loss. One day a woman named Alicia come in and says she thinks she’s the daughter Daniel believed his high school girlfriend aborted when her family moved away to hide the pregnancy in the 1980s.

At that time, Daniel gave Penny a note when she wouldn’t speak to him, asking her to circle Yes or No to tell him if she was pregnant. Now, Daniel and Alicia away the same answer from a DNA test.

To get Daniel to agree to the DNA test, Alicia had to agree to take him out of the nursing home each day while they await the results. She knew his past from her research, but she didn’t know what kind of man he really was.

Now, bonds are formed and secrets are shared as they wait to see if the answer is Yes or No.

A little side note … Yes or No was my NaNoWriMo project for 2021. I really didn’t expect to publish it yet, but the kind beta readers were pretty enthusiastic about it, so here it is. I hope you like it.
