Gift of Lycanthropy 2008

Things have been a little crazy here at the end of the year. Long-time followers of The Werewolf Saga know that I always do some kind of giveaway during the holidays. Yes, I give the Gift of Lycanthropy to someone. I had big plans for this year’s Gift campaign, but they kind of fell through for reasons I won’t go into.

However, I have to infect someone. So here’s the deal: Make a comment to this post and your name will be entered into a random drawing for a free signed copy of Ulrik. I’ll assign a number to each comment and have one of my kids draw for the winner.

But wait! There’s more! I’ll also throw in a copy of my 2008 Free Sampler CD that includes me reading an altered version of my short story “Okie Werewolf Seeks Love.” It’s comedy gold! (Not the story, just the accent.)

Need a topic to post about. How about why werewolves are better than vampires? Just a suggestion. Or, tell me why you deserve a copy of the book. Heck, write a convincing enough pity post and I might be persuaded to give away two copies of the novel.

The contest closes on, let’s say … New Year’s Eve at midnight. WordPress makes me approve all comments from new posters, so don’t be worried if yours doesn’t show up right away. I’ll get it.

  1. First come, first serve… right?

  2. Everyone knows vampires can’t touch the beasties for nothing. Werewolves, for one, still have their humanity about them which makes them all the more ferocious when seeking revenge or being genuinely pissed off. Plus, werewolves aren’t pansies who are afraid of sunlight or little white crosses.

Plus, Steve, furred characters are far more enduring than any Anne Rice vamp stuff I’ve read recently. Hey, brown-nosing counts for something in this draw, right?

  3. Werewolves kick butt! 😉

But hey, the reason I deserve a copy is because I’ve been a very good girl this year. 😀

PS. I live in Australia, so I’ll understand if you don’t enter me in the contest but I wanted to say: Merry Christmas!
