In 24 hours I’ll be getting ready for the Late Night Horror Readings at SoonerCon in downtown Oklahoma City. Are you going to be there? You should. Stephen R. Donaldson, author of The Thomas Covenant Chronicles, is the guest of honor. There’ll be lots of other interesting guests, too. I’ll be on some panels (including one about blogging), doing a signing and another reading. I hope to see you there.
I went up to the school today to get ready for summer school. Summer school is only 16 days not six weeks like I originally thought, so that’s good. Me teaching math still is not good, but I suppose we’ll muddle through. It’s three hours a day, four days a week. After the math, I’m going to see if we can get through Jack London’s The Call of the Wild. It’s probably asking a bit much, but we’ll try.
No word on any publications. I still have several things out. I’ve had several messages over the past week asking me about the novel Ulrik. Unfortunately, I don’t have any news about a publication date. I wish I did, but … There is a magazine that’s asked for copies of the published books for reviews and requested a new werewolf story. I’m thinking of sending an excerpt of the novel.
