Some convention appearances are beginning to fall into place. I’ve nailed down a couple more over the past few days, so here’s some information on them.
On April 15 I’ll be the guest speaker for the Kansas Writers Association meeting in Wichita. Details are still being hammered out, but I know I’ll be giving the latest incarnation of my “Cross-genre Pollination” lecture first, then we’ll have some kind of workshop after. April 15 also happens to be my youngest son’s birthday, so going to this was a toss-up … but they offered me money. I’m such a ‘ho.
SoonerCon is back! I say with much enthusiasm despite never having attended it in previous incarnations. Nevertheless, yesterday I was informed they’d like to have me as a panelist. This is July 15-16 right in the OKC.
The next weekend, of course, is Conestoga, and I’ll also be a guest there in Tulsa.
I look forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones.
I’m still looking into making ConDFW on the 25th of this month. Yes, I’d only be there for one day. It’s one of the rare meetings of the DFW chapter of the Horror Writers Association, so I’d like to make it for that. And I have hope yet of making Horrorfind VI and World Fantasy. We’ll see how that goes.
