Bits from yesterday

Two things I didn’t get around to mentioning yesteday: The producer who was looking at the script for Murdered by Human Wolves decided to pass. It was a nice rejection, though.

Then I learned that my short story “Dead Betty” was accepted into the Amazon Shorts program at Amazon.com. Some people have done very well in this program. Most stories accepted are available for electronic download at 49 cents. I’m still going over the contract and such, but I expect to sign it. I’ll let you know when the story is available. Oh, it’s a love story about the professor from my novel The Prometheus Syndrome and a cadaver. More or less.

    Bummer!

    1. On the Amazon Shorts . . . not the rejection . . . that seems obvious now that I write it, but it didn’t when I saw my post below

  2. Sorry about the script, but getting a producer to even read it is a big step.
Cool on the Amazon Shorts. I bought James Morrow’s THE SECOND COMING OF CHARLES DARWIN just last week. There were a few glitches in finally getting it to work, but once it did it was great. I can print it out, e-mail it, save it as a PDF. Pretty cool.
