Kim’s still logging major overtime. Bad for her, but good for my productivity. I did almost 4,000 words tonight, on top of what I did last night. Here’s the latest Ulrik word update:

On top of that, I outlined the next 12 chapters. With multiple characters with separate agendas in diverse locations, outlining has almost become a necessity with this book just so I can remember who is doing what when and what they need to do next. Of course, my outlines are hardly more than one sentence per chapter, but I guess it’s still outlining.
Kim’s off tomorrow and, while it won’t really be a day of rest since we still have a couple of Christmas gifts to buy, at least she won’t be working until midnight or later. With the late nights and having to get up by 8 a.m. to get the girls off to school, I’ll start worrying about her not getting enough rest pretty soon. I’m cranky enough for the both of us.
In other news, a friend gave me the new Nickleback CD to play at work this morning. I recognized one song, but really liked the whole CD.
