Today I talked to the director of graduate admissions at OCU about
taking some writing courses to meet the requirements to teach creative
writing/English comp/journalism at the college level. She thinks we can
work something out if some other people on campus are willing to work
with us. So, we’ll see about that. I’m actually kinda psyched about
taking some classes, or independent study, or whatever it turns out to
be. We have a really good screenwriting professor and I’d like to take
his class on screenwriting.
I’m still fighting the burnout over work. I don’t know if it’s just
spring fever, too much stress from doing my job and Robert’s, the extra
stress over the pending changes, or just sick of being a PR whore. Or a
combination of all. And, it could just be that I haven’t been writing.
I’ve been putting a couple of things off waiting to get Shara knocked into shape, but so far Nathan hasn’t sent the PDF cum Word file he said he thought he could create for me.
There was a box of 15 copies of Call to the Hunt waiting on me at home this evening. They are now signed and will go in the mail to Shocklines
tomorrow. Matt probably will have a page for pre-ordering soon. I’ll
link to it when it’s there. If you’re not buying your horror books from
Shocklines, shame on you. Matt’s one of the best friends a horror
author can have.
Good news on Alex’s scoliosis report. The curvature is only 6 percent.
The doctor wasn’t going to be worried unless it was over 15 percent, so
it’s all good.
On that note, I’ll end this for today.
