I hate cars. The only thing I hate worse than cars is having more than one car. In the past two months we’ve spend almost $1,000 on a new water pump, then four new tires for my wife’s van. This morning my hail damaged, bird-shit-covered little Kia starting lurching and chugging on the way to work. The Check Engine light came on and started flashing like a desperate old whore winking dramatically for attention. According to the manual, that’s a catalytic converter issue. Wonderful.

so pull it off, slap in a piece of straight pipe, and avoid inspections =))

Wrong problem
Well, it ain’t the catalytic converter. Cylinder 1 is missing. Could be a bad spark plug, plug wire, or need a tuneup.
Oklahoma quit doing vehicle inspections a few years ago. The next year we had a budget crisis. Hmm.

Me too…I hate cars.
My exhaust pipe has rusted through and my car sounds like a boat. White gaseous smoke is pouring out from under the left back wheel well. Of course, this has to happen when I’m starting to worry about buying Christmas gifts. Vehicles really know how to stick it to you when it hurts.
