In a couple of hours I’ll have a new bundled edition of the first three novellas in The Travels of Jacob Wolf series live on Amazon. The bundle includes:

These three volumes trace young Jacob’s journey after his girl dumps him upon their arrival in San Antonio from their home in Kentucky. It follows his first gunfight and subsequent training as a bounty hunter under the tutelage of Jerome Freeman. Eventually, Jacob has to set out on his own.

I really enjoy writing about Jacob Wolf. The next arc of his story — three more novellas — are written and scheduled for publication later this year. The first, called Wallacetown Reckoning, will be out in February.

A major source of inspiration for my Jacob Wolf stories are David R. Lewis’s Trail Series of short novels. If you haven’t read those, you really should, and I recommend them in audio. David was a wonderful writer and an amazing voice actor. Sadly, he passed beyond the sunset a few years ago.
