Brett Favre stole my Christmas present


Will that man ever retire? Good Lord! Today’s match-up was one the Vikes coulda, woulda, shoulda won, but with the game tied, Favre led the Pack close enough for a game-winning field goal. Oh well. The man is good and the game won’t be as exciting when he’s gone.

I did get another Christmas present today. The wifey worked, so I took the kids to Rib Crib for lunch. I kept wondering why the waitress wasn’t bringing our check, so I finally asked her about it. Somebody I didn’t even notice paid our bill. He told the waitress he was impressed with my kids. Human kindness isn’t dead, after all. That was a very nice thing and to have done it and left without waiting for any thanks was very classy.

In that spirit, I’d like to wish all you readers out there a very, very merry Christmas.

      As much as I hated to see them let Kordell go a few years back, it looks like it was for the best. They are kicking some major butt this year. Good luck!
      I take solace knowing that Dallas still sucks.

    Sorry … was a helluva game, but in games like that it all boils down to whomever has possession last [real quiet like, so as not to anger you – GO PACK!] You know, it’s not even that he’s good that makes it fun to watch, he’s like a little kid! his expressions are just fun – pure enjoyment when he’s on that field, i like that =))
    Ohhhh but the bill being paid is a VERY cool christmas present!! charity and good will aren’t dead – and you should be proud of your kids for making such a good impression =))
