The Christian Horror Writer

This is something I’ve wanted to tackle for a while. But, frankly, I simply don’t have the brain power for it tonight. I promised a thought-provoking essay, however, so I point you to the always wise and entertaining Maurice Broaddus, aka the “Sinister Minister.” He answers the question quite nicely in this little essay. Someday soon I’ll revisit this and add my own thoughts.

No. I did not hear about any of the jobs today. I’m losing faith in the “no news is good news” axiom.

  1. Very interesting article. I like this guy’s thought pattern.
You know, listening to the radio the other day the DJ suggested asking everyone around the Thanksgiving table what they are thankful for.
That one question seems to be haunting me. Strange?
But it did give me pause to think of my answers and wonder what other family members would say. Sometimes we hit a rocky path. All the positive words of encouragement begin to tire us. I know. I also remember the saying “and this too shall pass”. It will pass. One day this episode will be the past.
    What are you thankful for?
I hope you didn’t mind my little sermon? Sometimes words are all a friend has to offer.
