This is just a quickie before I log off to make a phone call. I got a letter from the Oklahoma Department of Education today saying I’ve passed the first hurdle in the road to become a teacher. Initially, I can only be certified in journalism, which will make the job search harder, but once I get that I can apply for English credentials, too. Now I need to call and arrange to take the tests, then see if I can pass an FBI background check. Hmmm … (No, that won’t be any problem.)
