Double duty … or triple

Can I get an amen? The air conditioner is back on. That’s the good news. The bad news is we’ll have to drop another wad of cash on the unit before winter. Long, long story with lots of tech stuff I didn’t fully understand. The important thing is, I’m sitting under a vent blowing cold air.

Dropped off the last of BB with Gayleen and Paul this morning. Gayleen’s already burned through the last 100 or so pages and made an excellent suggestion in e-mail … and I’m sure many more written on the pages. I’ll start making those edits soon.

Today I did minimal work on The Puppet King, revising only one chapter. I dropped the first three chapters off with BB this morning. Here’s the word count, though it’s about the same as yesterday:

That isn’t to say I didn’t do anything today, though. I doubled the amount I have done on the screenplay adaptation of Murdered by Human Wolves. I know have over 26 minutes of script, and am still finding this to be a thrilling and fascinating experience. How do you convey the internal struggle in a way that will work on film? Add dialogue and action. My goal here is 90 minutes. I’ve adapted through Chapter 4. I think it’ll come out just about right. Here, have another meter:

Don’t be surprised if there’s not another update for a few days. I’ll be away from the computer until late Sunday.
